McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast-growing Top100 Accountancy Practice who are looking to strengthen their Business Services team and recruit a Senior Accounts/Senior Outsourcing Manager. The firm has an enviable reputation across the Oxfordshire, Chilterns and Thames Valley region providing a range of Financial Outsourcing services to OMBs and major private PLCs. Reporting to the Head of Outsourcing, you will be responsible for:
- Managing your own varied industry-sector client portfolio to include OMB’s & Private PLCs
- Ensuring all team members are managing Account assignments to meet deadlines and quality targets
- Reviewing internal policies and procedures to ensure an efficient & effective Outsourcing service delivery for clients
- Being innovative and use IT/Technology to streamline work practices in a standardised manner
- Marketing the firms Outsourcing services to new and existing clients across the two UK offices
- Maintaining the Job Control systems, liaising and planning with the internal Audit & Tax teams as necessary
- Providing technical accounting assistance and performing technical checks with the Head of Outsourcing
- Ensuring that productivity and recovery targets are achieved both individually and across the Outsourcing team
- Day-to-day staff management including work allocation and workflows, recruitment, training & development
- Measuring operational performance using KPIs agreed with the Partners
- Undertaking staff development reviews and review of formal performance measures/objectives
- Managing incoming Outsourcing jobs to ensure resources are available to meet client deadlines
To be considered for the Senior Accounts Manager role you should be a fully qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant from another Accountancy Firm or Outsourcing Provider with excellent staff management and UK GAAP Financial Reporting skills. You should be able to manage a portfolio of clients and review the work of others, be proactive with business development and ideally used Sage and/or Xero within your work. You should be self-motivated, energetic, be able to take the initiative with excellent planning, organisational and team working skills.
