McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a Top100 Accounting Firm who are continuing to enjoy very strong growth within their London & Home County offices.  They are now seeking a “Xero Accounts” part-qualified or QBE Accountant who will be responsible for expanding their Cloud Services as more customers use Xero, ensuring management accounts are delivered more efficiently than ever before.

Working within a team of 7, this role will ensure all customers get access to this new and ground breaking service and you will be responsible for the first eight weeks of their transition to the new software. Responsibilities include pro-actively analysing data to ensure the client has entered it correctly, checking bank feeds are correctly running and being reconciled, and that Xero payroll is being posted properly.  You will be expected to solve any issues they may have with the support from the rest of the team, and other key duties include:

  • Management of client’s day-to-day bookkeeping
  • Managing VAT returns for clients
  • Assisting customers with their Xero payroll files
  • Undertaking monthly meetings via Skype and FaceTime with customers
  • Producing management reports via Futrli / Xero Accounts
  • Creating bespoke KPI reports for clients as required
  • Assisting with the production of statutory accounts
  • Analysing client financial data and training clients how to use the Xero Accounts system
  • Attending various Xero courses to keep up to date with new products and development
  • Attending the firms “Cloud Accounting” events to promote Xero to new and existing customers

To be considered for the role you should have Accountancy practice experience producing management accounts, KPIs and cash flow forecasts. You should be able to use Xero extensively along with other packages such as Sage, Open Accounts, QuickBooks etc.  You should ideally be AAT or ACCA Part-Qualified or QBE (a study support package is available) and on offer is a base salary to £25,000 along with life assurance & income protection schemes, pension, free car parking and 20 days holiday.  To apply for the position, or for more information, please contact McGinnis Loy Associates on 0845 862 6202 or via email at admin@mcginnisloy.com
