McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a well-known regional Accountancy Firm who are continuing to enjoy strong growth across their London & Thames Valley offices. They are now seeking an Outsourcing Senior / Accounts Senior to join their growing team near Bracknell who will be responsible for a portfolio of outsourcing clients consisting of UK Ltd companies, partnerships and sole traders. Reporting to one of the Outsourcing Managers, key duties include:
- Responsible for your own portfolio of clients
- Preparation of client management accounts with complex reporting requirements and strict deadlines
- Using a variety of accounting software packages including Sage, Xero & QuickBooks
- Reviewing the work of junior/part-qualified team members
- Cash management and preparation of client cash flows, including liaison with banks
- Preparation of client budgets
- Preparation of VAT returns and providing VAT advice to clients
- Liaison with payroll department regarding wages, pensions and deductions
- Liaising with external auditors and internal departments when required – Audit, Tax, General Practice
- Day to day client liaison and parent company liaison
To be considered for the role you should ideally have experience of working in a UK-based accountancy practice in a client accounts/outsourcing focused role with people management experience, cash management, cash flow and budget preparation experience. You should be familiar working with a varied client base and liaising with external auditors, and ideally have experience of Sage/Xero accounting packages.
On offer is a base salary to £50,000 depending on relevant experience, healthcare & pension schemes, 25 days holiday and other flexible benefits.
