McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a forward thinking, innovative and friendly professional services firm who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for their growing team in Newbury, Berkshire. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a team of four you will be working as part of the cashiering support function and key duties include:
- Verifying and processing bank payments and receipts
- Bank reconciliations & transfers
- Accurately completing financial transactions related to residential property matters
- Analysing and processing client invoices
- Recording disbursement invoices
- Processing card payments
- Client interest posting
- Dealing with incoming Finance post, emails, and telephone calls
- Periodic reporting and monitoring of financial transactions
- Ensuring compliance with Professional Accounts Rules including File Reviews and Client Balance Reviews
To be considered for the role you should be a Part-Qualified AAT/ACCA Accountant or Qualified by Experience, ideally with at least 2-3 years financial accounting experience including transactions processing, monthly reporting and reconciliations. On offer is a salary up to £33,000 depending on relevant experience, a study package where appropriate and benefits to include company pension, healthcare, flexible holiday scheme and other benefits.
